Course Summary
This specialist qualification covers the competencies required to indentify, determine the likelihood and consequence if a fraud should occur, and then develop treatments to detect, mitigate and ultimately prevent fraud. This will include internal and external fraud which may impact the workplace.
Electives should reflect the responsibilities of the individual and the job skills required for effective performance.
The Certificate IV in Government (Fraud Control) program is delivered in three varying methods:
- Module 1 (5 days) and Module 2 (5 days) utilising a blended delivery. (Face to Face)
- Module 1 (5 days) face to face Module 2 RPL/RCC and/or Credit Transfer (Approved Learners)
- Full RPL/RCC and/or Credit Transfer (Approved Learners)
In addition, there are pre & post session components which may include the learner's recognition in the workplace and/or a Prior Learning component as part of the assessment.
Course Objectives
The aim of the course is to develop competent Government personnel who are able take control of the fraud control planning function in their workplace including identifying and rating fraud risks. Course participants will gain skills in developing fraud risk assessments and fraud control plans including the identification of fraud risks in their work area through the practical application of knowledge and skills gained during the course.
Our specialist program incorporates field activities to test and reinforce the student's confidence and critical decision making skills.
